Don't take our word for it

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours here before our show. The food was great, the coffee was even better. But, the standout was the service. Penelope was an absolute delight and should be considered a treasure by the good people of Houston.

Wonderful stay! Mike, Carol, and Debbie made me feel very welcome. The hotel is beautiful, and Debbie’s bread pudding is to die for! This hotel is exactly what Houston needs, and I will certainly be back for another stay. The french toast (on Mike’s recommendation) at Gather is definitely worth a try 🙂

I had the shrimp salad. It was delicious. I have had the chicken salad before and it was super good too. They also have specials. Highly recommend.

Food was Awesome, small town hospitality and seating outside in the Alleyway was very pleasant! Next time we are up this way , we will stop in again!

Delightful combination of NYC boutique hotel and warm Southern hospitality. Couldn’t be more centrally located. We stayed in an upstairs room and enjoyed the second-floor porch and the common room where coffee & muffins are provided in the morning. Also pleasant sitting areas in the wide hallways if it’s a rainy day, and the downstairs dining area doubles as a game/sitting room. Excellent crispy thin-crust pan pizzas — again, NYC-worthy if you’re a thin-crust fan. On-street parking only.

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Highly recommend Gather for breakfast and lunch and End of the Alley for dinner and drinks.

Wow, what a place! Located just a few blocks from the Tanglefoot Trail, this recently renovated hotel has it all. The rooms are spacious and ready to take your bikes, the hotel has not one, not two, but three different places to eat. Grab some coffee and a scone from Gather Coffee shop, eat lunch at the Dixie Diner (get the onion rings), then have dinner downstairs at Just in Thyme. Seriously, once you’re there you never need to leave. The staff are very accommodating, Carol is absolutely wonderful.

We will definitely make it back to Daisy’s the next time we come to ride the Tanglefoot. It makes an excellent turnaround point if riding from New Albany.

This was an exceptional B&B. You can tell a lot of love and care went into the renovation of this property. And the restaurant that is on the lower level was excellent. If you are cycling the Natchez Trace I would consider this a must stop as it is only approximately 3 miles off the Trace
